We were asked to produce a high paced promotional film for an Athletics Fitwear Brand as part of their launch campaign. It was apparent after meeting with the owner that the brand goal was to empower women in the fitness world and so we decided to feature strong women in the gym, doing various workouts and routines. In addition, the term Valkyrie is a Norse Mythological term that represents battle angels that chose slain war maidens fit to enter Valhalla, so this context allowed us to create a surreal atmosphere in the gym by adding smoke and stylistic lighting. We delivered a high paced 60-second film with multiple 15-second social media cuts to showcase different features of the athletics leggings such as, “moisture-wicking technology”. We loved being able to completely take control over a gym, be more creative with our lighting choices, and feature fit and athletic individuals in our shoot.
