Florida Caverns State Park

As part of a larger campaign, Visit Florida commissioned us to highlight the Florida Caverns State Park. As part of the series, we interviewed the park manager, who gave us the history of the caverns and what makes it a unique visit in Florida. We hired a real family to explore the only air-filled tour cave in the state. It was a joy to be out in the wild and to capture the wondrous environment that is available to Floridians and visitors.

Production The Trek

One of the most complicated parts of the particular promotion for this cavern adventure was getting to our interview location with our equipment. We could have just filmed the interview in the open-air with a generic tree background, but the story called for a cavern backdrop. No carts or dollies would be able to wheel into the cavern, as some passages were tight and narrow. When we finally made it, we were rewarded with a great background that pushed the story further.
